Our El Paradiso
Welcome to El Paradiso — our personal place of strength on the crystal-clear Lake Attersee
For our family, this house is something truly special: in 1984, our father fulfilled his lifelong dream and built it directly on the lake. He often said: “It feels like paradise!” — and that is exactly how it feels to us.
As a civil engineer, his goal was to help clean Lake Attersee. Through his pioneering work, the lake is today one of the cleanest in Europe — so pure that it has drinking water quality and is lovingly called the “Caribbean of Austria.”
We are very happy to share this dream with you and wish you a wonderful, restorative time in our paradise by the lake.
El Paradiso – Arriving at Lake Attersee
Our El Paradiso is located directly on the water — a place where you can almost jump into the lake straight from your bed.
Here, simplicity and beauty, nature and comfort merge into one.
Four bedrooms invite you to dream — two of them with balconies and wide views over the lake. Everyone sleeps deeply and peacefully here, carried by the gentle lapping of the water and the fresh lake air.
Two bathrooms, a lovingly designed attic space for children to play and explore, and space for up to ten people make this house a place for togetherness.
The living room, with its lake view, wood-burning stove, and cosy dining area, invites you to sit together, talk, and enjoy being present. The kitchen is fully equipped — ready for shared cooking moments.
In the basement, there is another bedroom with two single beds, as well as a shower, toilet, and sauna for relaxing hours. Outside, a garden shower with warm water awaits — perfect after a swim in the lake.
On the covered terrace, you can end the day overlooking the water — at a large dining table for ten, while grilling or sitting by the fire pit as the sun disappears behind the mountains.
